Pirate-themed fun at Playing for Fundsies

The 2014 annual Cabinet Peaks Foundation’s Playing for Fundsies Golf Tournament winners were the Libby Care Center team of Jon Cielak, Spence Bocks, Jimmy Mee and Paul Nicely with a score of 46.
According to a press release, around 80 golfers who joined the CPMC Foundation Board on July 26 came to the pirate-themed event on Saturday, July 26 at the Cabinet View Golf Course.
The first place winners split a $500 cash reward. Wayne Haynes, Jeff Dooley, Gary Peck and Jerry Michels took second place with a $250 prize. The Johnson Control team of Tony Rebo, Jon Miller, Jim Germany and Mike Munro got third place with 50 points and took home $100.
Other winners at the event were Erin Oedewaldt for men’s long drive, Hailey Parker for women’s long drive and Vickie Randall and Callie Reichow for longest putt. Jay Adams and Nikki Hollingsworth got the closest to the pin awards, and Larry Beller won the best-decorated cart award for his pirate-themed ride.
The tournament raised over $20,000 for the Cabinet Peaks Foundation’s Mission Fund, which was established to help with the purchase of capital equipment needs for Cabinet Peaks Medical Center according to a release.
