NONINI: People were watching

Regarding Len Crosby’s opinion letter in the My Turn column of July 25 about Sen. Nonini’s response to come to a meeting to discuss the possibility of building a Veterans Home in North Idaho: Nonini and his wife Cathyanne, with their letter to Len Crosby, epitomized the old axiom: Character is determined by what you do when you think nobody is watching. This is why people lose faith in politicians.
