MATTAWA - The annual Vacation Bible School, which has been held in Hund Memorial Park for more than 20 years, is scheduled for August 4-8.

Conducting the VBS again will be youth missionaries of the Foster-Tukwila Presbyterian Church. They will be accompanied by several adults. Kayla Linscott will be their director.

"I don't know how many years they have been coming, but some of these kids are children of the youths who came years ago," said Joyce Leitz of the sponsoring Riverside Presbyterian Church in Desert Aire.

The VBS, named SonTreasure Island, is for children from pre-kindergarten through junior high school. It will go from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

"It will be fun," Linscott said. "There will be games, crafts and treats."
