Officials ID Polson man who died after falling at home

POLSON (AP) — Officials in Lake County have released the name of a 62-year-old Polson man who died after falling down a flight of stairs at his home.

Sheriff Jay Doyle told KERR-AM that John Harvey Davis died of injuries suffered in the fall. Davis’ wife called 911 shortly after 1 a.m. Monday.

Davis stopped breathing shortly after emergency crews arrived and efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

Autopsy results were not available Tuesday.
