HELENA (AP) — Shots were fired during a dispute between the owner of a trailer house northwest of Helena and a tenant.

No one was seriously injured during the confrontation Monday morning. Lewis and Clark County officials had not filed any charges.

Sheriff Leo Dutton says the landlord called 911 Monday morning saying he was involved in a shooting.

Dutton says shots were fired at the residence and a vehicle struck the landlord’s pickup. Shots were then fired at the pickup truck, causing a flat tire and a ruptured gas tank.

Dutton says one of the parties involved apparently intentionally hit four residents of the trailer house with a pickup truck. Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The sheriff was seeking a warrant to search the house.
