Through swirling winds, flashes of lightning with the sounds of rolling thunder, the annual Veterans Yard Sale was held on Aug. 2-3 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2453, Pine and Division in Sandpoint.

There are so many to thank for this year’s net of approximately $7,200, raised to assist veterans in need. The organizations that participated: VFW Post 2453, Marine Corps League Detachment 1110, American Legion Post 15, and Disabled American Veterans Post 15, with an assist from VFW Post 2909 Priest River (Mike Cresina).
