Two arrested, more sought in homicide

MISSOULA (AP) — Missoula County sheriff deputies have arrested two people and are looking for two more believed to be involved in the death of a transient whose body was found in the Clark Fork River in Missoula.
Officers have warrants charging 27-year-old Kevin Joseph Lino with deliberate homicide in the death of 36-year-old Gilbert George Berry. Berry’s body was found in the river Tuesday. An autopsy determined he was beaten and shot.
Officers also are seeking 27-year-old Angela Marchese, who is believed to be a witness in the case. Marchese uses a wheelchair, and she and Lino are believed to be traveling with a pack of pit bulls in a white 2014 Ford Focus with temporary West Virginia license plates, said sheriff’s spokeswoman Paige Pavalone.
Capt. Mike Dominick tells KGVO-AM that the suspects are believed to be traveling east and have contacts in Massachusetts. He said they have a pattern of selling their pit bulls or trading them for food or vehicles.
Officers arrested 21-year-old Kenneth D. Hickman on suspicion of aggravated assault Thursday while 21-year-old Mechailiah Tembruell faces a charge of accountability for aggravated assault, Pavalone said. Both are jailed with bail set at $50,000. They are scheduled to appear in Justice Court on Friday afternoon.
