FREE LUNCH: Thanks to all involved

Thank you to everyone who participated in the sixth annual Vernon Baker Free Lunch for Veterans this Memorial Day. The restaurants that participated this year include Michael D's Eatery, Capone's Pubs (Hayden, Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls Locations), Fedora Pub & Grille and Fourth Street Taco Time.

This year's volunteers included Eric Soles, Scarlet Kelso, Julie Bailey and Patti and Charlie Leach. We received a total of $995 in donations from USSVI-Faragut Base, Cd'A Kiwanis, Robert Yuditsky, Eric Soles, Patti and Charlie Leach, Tad and Sue Leach, Dick and Julie Leach, Namsik, Sunia and Kevin Smith, VJ Carey, Anthony Walker, Matt Higgins, Paige Lewis, J and P Dixon and Dick Wandrocke. We were logistically supported by VFW Post 889 in Coeur d'Alene.

Thanks to all these great volunteers, donors and participants, we were able to feed 132 veterans for free! Thank you all for supporting such a good cause and thank you to anyone who has sacrificed in order to protect American Freedoms.
