Activity picks up at Northwest Montana Fair

A steady stream of youngsters brought their animals to the fair on Monday in Kalispell.
Monday was the day for 4-H and FFA competitors to bring their sheep, swine and beef entries to the Northwest Montana Fair.
The fair officially begins Wednesday at the Flathead County Fairgrounds, although there was plenty of activity Monday.
On Tuesday, sheep and cattle will be judged and the first night show of the fair begins at 7:30 p.m.
Following is what's ahead on Tuesday at the fair:
8:30 a.m. Market sheep judging, Trade Center show ring; children’s classes to follow
3 p.m. 4-H/FFA/open beef cattle judging, Trade Center
5:30 p.m. Gates open for concert
7 p.m. Building 429 and For King and Country concert, grandstand
9 p.m. Exhibit buildings close
