TWIN FALLS (AP) - Eastbound lanes on a section of the main travel route through south-central Idaho have reopened following a collision involving a tractor-trailer carrying hazardous materials.

Authorities opened eastbound lanes on Interstate 84 between Twin Falls and Burley late Thursday morning after cleaning up chemicals from the Wednesday evening crash.

The Times-News reports that a tanker carrying 46,000 pounds of sodium aluminate solution blew a tire and was rear-ended by another tractor-trailer hauling onions.

The truck hauling onions caught fire and the driver was flown to a hospital to be treated for burns.
