An 18-year-old Kalispell man has changed his plea after being charged with six counts of felony burglary and one count of felony deceptive practices in February.
Severin Gislason appeared in Flathead County District Court on Thursday and entered a guilty plea to one charge of felony burglary and one charge of deceptive practices. The state dropped five other burglary charges.
A sentencing hearing is tentatively set for Oct. 23.
Gislason and Shane Christensen allegedly took part in an overnight crime spree of Bigfork businesses on Feb. 18. They are suspected of burglarizing Bigfork United Rentals, the Senior Center, Albiero Chiropractic, Waterstreet Co., Clayton’s Dental and Nielson Electric. Among items stolen were cash drawers and a credit card, which both men reportedly used, totaling nearly $9,000 in charges.
Christensen has entered a not guilty plea to a felony deceptive practices charge.
