ROYAL CITY - The Royal Slope Seniors (RSS) will be traveling to Mattawa on the first Thursday in September to enjoy a noon lunch at Tiddaly Diddaly's.

"Some of the members of the group know the owner and want to check out his menu," RSS President Sharon Chesterman said.

Everyone 55 and older (or younger) is welcome to be a part of RSS. It's a small group of local residents who meet regularly, and not so regularly.

"We've taken a couple of road trips this year and look forward to doing more," Chesterman said. "We've talked about antiquing in Ellensburg. What we do depends on the group's wishes."

Recently, the group sold its property in Royal City and will be establishing a scholarship or two for graduates of Royal High School.

If you'd like to join the group for lunch, you can carpool from Chesterman's home, 125 Daisy Street NE, Royal City, at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, September 4, or meet the group at Tiddaly Diddaly's.

If you have questions, call Chesterman at 346-9482. If there's no answer, you may leave a call-back number.
