A sort of endorsement of Amanda Curtis

The announcement by Amanda Curtis, Democratic candidate for the U. S. Senate, that she has selected Clayton Elliott as her campaign manager raised my appreciation for the Democratic Party and all they stand for in Montana.

The selection of Clayton Elliott, “a lobbyist and community organizer for an environmental group...” (Daily Inter Lake, Aug. 23, Page A5) gave me hope that the Democratic Party truly understands what is important for the people of Montana and would help to foster strong ties to President Obama, our most outstanding Democratic Community Organizer.

We, the people of Montana, should consider ourselves fortunate to have people of this caliber willing to take on the challenge of representing Montana in its fight for renewable energy and environmental causes, regardless of the economic cost and/or job loss that occurs as result of these causes.  Keep up the good work, Amanda! —Dale B.
