Award-winning blues artist coming to Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE - An Australian award-winning Blues artist is bringing her unique talent to Moses Lake for two free shows.
Anni Piper will be holding two free shows at the Ram's Ripple in Moses Lake at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Piper is known as "Australia's First Lady of the Blues," as her stage presence and talent have received great reviews and multiple music industry award nominations.
Piper started playing the electric guitar at age 12, but switched to playing the bass at 14.
In 2004, she released her first album in Australia, entitled "Jailbait," for which she won the "Best New Talent" award at the 2005 Australian Blues Music Awards.
Since then, Piper has been touring globally and constantly recording and releasing new music for her fans.
In 2013, Piper won the "Best Blues Album" award at the 2013 Canberra Roots & Blues Award. She was also nominated for the "Female Vocalist of the Year" award at the Australian Blue Music Awards in 2014.
