The 'Messiah'

The Glacier Symphony and Chorale will perform a shorter version of Handel’s iconic choral work “Messiah” at the Whitefish Middle School auditorium on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 7:30 p.m. and the Flathead High School auditorium on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 3 p.m.

The performance will conclude with the popular “Hallelujah Chorus,” considered to be one of the greatest sacred selections of the entire choral repertory.

Tickets are available in a range of seating tiers online at www.gscmusic.org or at  the GSC office, 69 North Main Street, in Kalispell, or by e-mailing info@gscmusic.org. They report that their phone system has been having trouble. No free youth tickets will be available for this concert.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
