Braves pin dual loss on Bulldogs

BUTTE — Flathead won a pinfest with the Butte Bulldogs on Friday in Class AA wrestling dual action.
Flathead had six falls to four for Butte to claim a 39-33 victory in its season opener.
Only three matches were not decided by falls.
Posting pins for Flathead were Hunter Rush (103), Trae Vasquez (113), Dyan Guzman (126), Payton Hume (132), Logan Wilson (182) and Riley Leigh (285).
Wilson had the fastest pin, sticking his opponent in 40 seconds. Vasquez was next with his fall in 55 seconds followed by Leigh in 57.
Matt Gash-Gilder had the other win for Flathead with a decision at 170.
Flathead is back on the mats today at the Helena Duals. The Braves will face Helena Capital, Missoula Hellgate and Bozeman.
