Chambers earns Spirit Award
Triple Play Family Fun Park employee Cody Chambers was recently awarded the 2014 Spirit Award by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. Chambers received the honor at the organization's annual attractions expo in Orlando, Fla.
"Words cannot express how happy we are for Cody. No one deserves this award more than she does and we don't know what we would do without her here at Triple Play," said Jennifer Ross, marketing and sales director for the Hayden fun park. "These awards are like the Academy Awards of our industry."
Chambers was in the top three selected from nearly 100 entries for the "Brass Ring Award." She received a crystal plaque and $500.
Idaho Lifestyle Properties expands
Rick Carr, broker and owner of Idaho Lifestyle Properties, announced he is expanding the real estate brokerage and relocating it to 701 E. Front Ave., Suite 301 in downtown Coeur d'Alene.
"I am extremely excited by this location and the possibilities the relocation offers. This will help the brokerage to provide the best in customer services," Carr said.
The new offices overlook the redesigned McEuen Park and Lake Coeur d'Alene. Custom-designed built-in workspaces afford seven to 10 agents a secure and private environment for all their real estate dealings. A large conference room provides a venue for meetings with clients to discuss contracts or preview properties on large screens.
"Idaho Lifestyle Properties specializes in the residential marketplace that defines the lifestyle of our area that is so desirable," stated the brokerage's announcement of the relocation. Properties include waterfront, vista views, homes on acreage; luxury condominiums; golf course properties as well as local downtown properties.
The plan will be to continue to expand the brokerage with agents who themselves understand the importance of knowing all facets of the property they list or sell and sharing that knowledge with the customer.
Carr has lived in the area for more than 23 years. He has been a top real estate agent/broker for more than 13 years and is chairman of the Coeur d'Alene Association of Realtors Grievance Committee. Carr also serves on the Board of Directors for the Coeur d'Alene Lake Property Homeowners Association; and was former president of Jobs Plus in Coeur d'Alene, for Economic Development.
