Whitefish girls golf coach Tim Olson has been named Coach of the year by the Montana Coaches Association.
Olson led the Lady Bulldogs to a Class A state championship and Northwest A divisional title this fall.
The state title was the Lady Dogs’ 17th overall and their first since 2007.
Whitefish finished with four girls — Coral Schulz, Malia Morris, Georgia Donaldson and Katie Fyall — earning all-state honors.
Olson took over as head coach in 2012 after Terry Nelson retired.
