The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the death of a Lakeside woman who died in a house fire Nov. 13.

Beatrice Helen Clark, 41, died of carbon monoxide poisoning due to smoke inhalation, according to autopsy results from the State Crime Lab.

Sheriff Chuck Curry said that the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The Somers-Lakeside Volunteer Fire Department received a report of smoke coming from the home at 150 Conrad Point Road around 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 13.

Firefighters initially extinguished the fire but it reignited later that morning, bringing them back to the scene.

The fire was completely put out by 10:30 a.m. A dog also died in the fire.
