2014 All State/All-Conference awards

SANDERS COUNTY – All-State/All-Conference picks for the 2014 fall football season were announced last week and several Sanders County athletes were recognized for their achievements during the season.

In Western C 6-Man, Hot Springs had several players recognized after a successful 9 – 1 season.

Senior Tanner Hoff, sophomore Trevor Paro and senior Nate Gray were named both All-State and All-Conference.

Additionally, senior Lane Foster and junior Jack Dolson were named All-Conference players for the Savage Heat.

In Western 8-man the Noxon Red Devils had two players as defensive honorable mentions. Both senior Gary Wadman and junior Jade Smith were recognized for strong seasons.

Players from Plains and Thompson Falls received All-Conference honors in District 7-B.

For the Horsemen defensive back Trent Brouillette was named to the second team defense.

Bluehawk Trais Hoisington was named to both first team defense and first team offense.

Kolt Shaw was named to first team offense, while also receiving honors for second team defense.

Greg Wadsworth was recognized on both second team offense and defense, as was Mack Holt.

Kade Van Elswik was named to second team defense and Ty Carter was named to second team offense.

Athletes across the county should look back fondly on their fall season after a year full of strong individual and team based performances.
