On Dec. 10, 2014, after a heartbreaking battle with cancer, Kenneth Eugene Toothaker died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Post Falls, Idaho. Ken passed away surrounded by his loving family. He was 54 years old.

Ken was born on Nov. 6, 1960, in Daly City, Calif., to Janice Toothaker (nee Wendt) and George (Slick) Toothaker.

Ken was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and brother-in-law. He never turned anyone down if they needed a hand, a place at the table, or the assistance of a crank of a tool. Ken will be missed by many, especially his closest group of family and friends.

Ken was preceded in death by his mother Janice Toothaker (nee Wendt), father George (Slick) Toothaker, and brothers Danny Toothaker and Lloyd Toothaker.

Ken is survived by his wife, Anne Marie (nee Hagan); sons Daniel Patrick Toothaker and Sean Owen Toothaker; sister Carol Toothaker and brother William Toothaker (Kodi Thompson); grandson Liam Patrick Toothaker; loving step-mother Anni Toothaker Parker; sisters-in-law Maureen Hagan Madieros (Stephen Madieros) and Frances Hagan; niece Emily Toothaker and nephew Vincent Toothaker.

A celebration of Ken's life will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls. This will be followed by a light reception.
