One fatality was reported moments before 5 p.m. today after a plane crashed in Pablo west, according to scanner traffic. Located on a hill behind some residences, the white plane is believed to be carrying two people in need of medical attention.
The plane was reported to not be on fire when the first emergency call was placed, but gas was reported to have been leaking from one of the wings, scanner traffic said. Air crews are being dispatched to the scene, the traffic said.
Authorities from the FAA instructed emergency crews to be aware its office and the NTSB will investigate the crash, scanner traffic said.
Updates will be posted as they occur. Beware that scanner traffic is a third-party's honest assessment of what is happening at any given time, but not necessarily factually correct.
