Erratic driver was feeling ill

The Flathead County Sheriff Office responded to a report of an erratic driver on Shady Lane in Kalispell. Officers located the driver in question, who turned out to be a diabetic who wasn’t feeling well. His wife took over driving.
A caller in Somers reported the theft of a package and a bunch of mail, which included gift cards and money.
Multiple reports of a woman and man fighting in front of businesses along U.S. 2 East were received, saying the man was beating up the woman, and then the two had a verbal confrontation. The woman eventually left.
A caller reported that a man at a motel in Kalispell removed the bumper of his car and put a new bumper on with “drugs inside it.” The caller also reported a meth lab in one of the rooms. The caller witnessed a blue Chevy leave the motel with what were described as possible meth lab items such as suitcases and black plastic garbage bags.
A caller reported $10,000 in cash stolen from his father’s safe. The caller had a possible suspect in mind.
A man broke into a woman’s house on U.S. 2 East in Columbia Falls. The man, who is reportedly the father of the woman’s children, broke down the door. The woman said she locked herself in a room while he stole items from her home. He left in a black Bronco “full of items from the house.”
An abandoned motor home was reported at a fishing access. The door was left open and the motor home had been abandoned about five days. There also was an empty purse in the toilets nearby.
A dog was caught in a wolf trap near Marion. The responder advised the caller this was a matter for Fish, Wildlife and Parks.
A solar panel was reported missing from a home on Rainbow Drive in Kalispell.
A woman was caught attempting to steal three cans of beer from a store on U.S. 2 East. She was detained until officers arrived.
A woman allegedly hit her boyfriend with a car on Smith Lake Road. The two had been having a verbal argument for several days before it escalated. The man refused medical attention but was later admitted to the hospital. After being discharged, he returned to the house to find it locked and the woman leaving. Eventually, the woman allowed the man to enter the home.
Trespassers were reported camping on private property on Grand Drive in Bigfork. The caller saw the group start a campfire and asked for assistance getting them to leave.
A man called to say he felt “out of control” at his home on First Street in Columbia Falls and because he is an “enormous person,” he needed to remove himself from the situation. He said his mother and best friend were at the residence and the caller said he was “hurting them.” He originally said he had a gun, but then admitted he only said that to make officers arrive more quickly.
The Columbia Falls Police Department was called about Christmas decorations stolen from a home on Riverwood Lane.
A woman’s wallet was found in the men’s restroom at a restaurant on Ninth Street West.
An injured deer in an empty lot in Woodland Place was reported to the Whitefish Police Department. The deer was dispatched and the meat sent to the food bank.
A man at a bar on Baker Avenue said he was going to pull a gun if someone did not get out of his way. Police found one man helping another to his car, and the second man said, “Get out of my way now or I’ll shoot." The two argued until someone arrived to take the inebriated man home. A firearm was never present.
