Monday, Dec. 15

10:05 a.m. Report of a snowboard stolen from the ski rack of a vehicle on Spokane Avenue.

12:25 p.m. Report of an intoxicated man walking on Lupfer Avenue.

5:59 p.m. Report of a black bear in a tree on Dakota Avenue.

Tuesday, Dec. 16

9:45 a.m. A U.S. 93 South business received a strange, rambling letter in the mail. It wasn’t threatening, just suspicious.

10:15 a.m. Report of shoplifting downtown.

11:25 a.m. Report of a snowboard stolen from the back of a pickup on U.S. 93 South.

4:54 p.m. Bear tracks were spotted in the snow near Wisconsin Avenue.

9:53 p.m. Report of a crying teenage girl on 13th Street. Police took the girl home.

Wednesday, Dec. 17

1:30 a.m. Report of a Wisconsin Avenue resident using some sort of loud machine inside their apartment. It was keeping the neighbors awake.

8:56 a.m. Complaint of barking dogs on Wisconsin Avenue.

11:06 a.m. Prescription sunglasses were stolen from River Lakes Parkway.

9:07 p.m. Report of a Wisconsin Avenue resident with a loud machine that makes a thumping noise against the wall.

Thursday, Dec. 18

5:01 a.m. A vehicle slid into the ditch on Mountainside Drive.

2:16 p.m. A vehicle slid off Fairway Drive.

Friday, Dec. 19

8:17 p.m. A woman was heard screaming “Help” and “Get out of my car” in an alley behind Central Avenue.

Saturday, Dec. 20

5:32 p.m. A woman reported getting threatening messages from her ex-husband. He allegedly threatened to slit her throat.

6:51 p.m. Report of someone on U.S. 93 South shining a green laser light into passing cars.

7:42 p.m. A woman reported her husband was up to his old shenanigans again.

8:02 A woman heard on the news that a police officer was killed. She wanted to let police know she is thankful for their service.

9:05 p.m. Construction workers were using a propane heater to keep a job site warm at City Beach. Someone thought it was a campfire.

Sunday, Dec. 21

1:28 a.m. A man said someone stole $1,230 cash from an envelope in his hoodie while at the bowling alley. The money was Christmas cash for his kids.
