COEUR d’ALENE — Even if you don’t get a white Christmas, you could be in for a white weekend.

There is a 50 percent chance for snowfall today and tonight, climatologist Cliff Harris said Tuesday. If it stays cold enough on Christmas morning, Kootenai County could see the 1 inch of snow needed for an official “White Christmas” and Bonner County could receive 2 inches in the valleys and as much as 3 to 7 inches in the mountains.
