HELENA — A Missoula man has claimed the $300,000 Montana Cash jackpot from the Oct. 15 drawing — the largest jackpot in the history of the game.
Montana Lottery officials say Daniel Woodgerd claimed his winnings Tuesday.
He bought his ticket at Westside Lanes & Fun Center.
Woodgerd said he usually checks his lottery tickets when he buys new tickets, but hadn’t done so in a while.
When he saw that no one had claimed the $300,000 prize he finally checked his tickets and learned he had the winner.
Lottery officials announced Wednesday that all 135,000 Montana Millionaire tickets have been sold and the drawing moved up to Dec. 30 at 10 a.m.
