Blanche Cassady Walter was born June 27,1962, in Uniontown, Pa., to Joseph and Rose Cassady. 

“She passed into the Lord's waiting arms” on Jan. 11, 2014, in Kalispell. 

As a young girl Blanche moved with her family to Butte where she called home. There was nothing more important to her than spending time with her family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rose Cassady; an aunt, Shirley Zinn; a sister, Jane Johnson; a niece, Angie Dinius; a nephew, Richard Dinius; and the father of her children, Don Kiefer.

She is survived by the lights of her world, a son Donald Kiefer, a daughter Jennifer Hartman, and Andrew Howell, and two precious grandsons Christopher Howell and Frank Hartman, of Columbia Falls; She is also survived by three sisters, Rose and Clarence Ewalt of Gillette Wyo., Debra Dinius and William St. Marks of Butte, and Beverly and Ray Reynolds of Missoula; and two brothers, Jim Cassady of Gillette, and Clark Cassady of Butte. She is also leaving behind several nieces and nephews, ex-husband Randy Walter of Van Buren, Ark., and many other friends who will miss her smiling face and loving nature.
