A concerned animal lover reported an Angel Point Road couple to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, claiming they had more than 60 rabbits, but maybe fewer because they were dying.
The owner of a Hodgson Road ranch returned home and found that his zebra had died. An animal control officer said the death was not due to cruelty, as all the animals at the ranch were well taken care of.
A man on probation for theft was reported to have been asking a 16-year-old Columbia Falls-area girl for sexual pictures after they became friends on Facebook.

An Eighth Street East woman claimed officers weren’t doing their job by only stickering her vehicle and not any other vehicles on her road, and a Fourth Avenue West man said there was nowhere else for him to put his vehicle.
A wrathful woman was reported driving into a Lupine Drive resident’s vehicle before breaking into her home through the window. The resident had obtained a restraining order against the woman, but it had not yet been served. Officers responded to take the woman into custody, and her vehicle was towed.
A woman trying to leave her husband said he took a television away from her and pushed her when she tried to take it from their Eighth Street West home. Both were advised that their mutual property needed to stay at the home until divorce proceedings indicated how it would be divided between them.
Smash-and-grabs were reported on Fifth Avenue East North and Third Avenue East, where burglars broke into vehicles and stole rock-climbing gear, a gym bag, a wallet and a purse.

A Whitefish Police Department officer responded to Colorado Avenue after a growling pit bull was reported by a person who said it was vicious and didn’t want it attacking children that lived at the apartments. The person kept the dog in the area by throwing it food and tried to get it to go into an office, but it stayed outside. A maintenance man also reported he was unable to leave his office because of the dog. The dog’s owner eventually came to pick up the pet and was issued a citation for having a dog at large.
A boy who was caught while trying to steal eye drops was taken back to school by an officer and turned over to administrators.
A Columbia Falls Police Department officer used a Taser on a man after his neighbor reported he was drunk, slamming doors, playing loud music and screaming at the neighbor through the wall after the neighbor asked him to turn down the music. The man also reportedly broke out a woman’s headlights in the past in retaliation for her complaining about his noise.
