The Trapline Association presents the 36th Annual Cabin Fever Days Friday through Sunday in the Canyon communities of Martin City, Coram and Hungry Horse.

Cabin Fever Days is packed with unique winter-themed events such as the “World Famous” barstool ski races Saturday and Sunday on Sugar Hill in Martin City. Qualifying sledders compete in steerable, non-steerable and show categories.

Other events include a poker run, pool and darts tournaments, deer racing, snowshoe softball, mountain man competitions, an arm wrestling tournament and a Rochambeaux tournament. Child-friendly activities are offered throughout the weekend.

Participating bars and eateries will feature live music from different performers such as Kenny James Miller Band, Cocinando, 20 Grand Funk Band and Rock Mountain.

For a full list of events, visit www.cabinfeverdays.com.

“Every year the Trapline Association strives to make Cabin Fever Days more family friendly,” says Stacey Schnebel, president of the Trapline Association. “This year we are very excited to announce all new children's events at the Fire Hall in Martin City, complete with a magic show by Dan Jimmerson at 4 p.m. on Saturday.”

Flathead-Glacier Transportation will operate a free shuttle to eliminate traffic and deliver festival-goers between events on Saturday and Sunday.  Parking and $3 Cabin Fever Days buttons (required to enter events) can be found at various locations throughout the Canyon.

New this year, a $5 membership fee to the Trapline Association includes a Cabin Fever Days button. Memberships can be purchased at the entrance to the festival in Martin City.

Proceeds from T-shirt and button sales benefit the Canyon Quick Response Unit, Volunteer Fire Department, Canyon Kids Christmas Fund and the Canyon Community Group.
