Whitefish High School will induct two new members into the Bulldog Hall of Fame this Saturday at 7 p.m. between basketball games against Columbia Falls.
Inductees this year are legendary Bulldog golf coach Terry Nelson and standout athlete Stephanie Johnson Gulick.
Nelson coached the boys and girls golf teams from 1985-2011. The teams brought home 24 state championships and 59 divisional titles under Nelson’s leadership. He was twice named national coach of the year and was inducted into the National High School Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame in 2011.
Gulick was an all-state volleyball and basketball player for the Lady Bulldogs in 1989-90. She holds the record for most assists in a season and was named the top female athlete at Whitefish High School in 1990.
