Expect another round of tourists in Whitefish this weekend with two big holidays falling on Monday.

Both President’s Day and Canada’s Family Day are on Feb. 17, setting up an extra busy weekend for Whitefish Mountain Resort.

The Saturday of President’s Day weekend is typically a top-5 day for skier traffic, with more the 5,000 skiers projected to be on the mountain.

The resort will run all of their chairs to help disperse crowds. T-bar 2 will be open for the entire week beginning Feb. 14. Night skiing will also be offered on Sunday, in addition to Friday and Saturday.
