Jewell "Diane" Wall-Whisner, 71

Jewell "Diane" Wall-Whisner, age 71, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2014, in Coeur d'Alene.

Diane was born in Kansas City, Mo., on October 2, 1942, to John L. Shoemaker and Jewel M. Martin. Diane married Charles Wall in 1964, and had three children: Robin Boykin, Paige Hirt, and John Wall. They later divorced, and Diane then married Richard Whisner until their divorce in 1989.

Diane was a Realtor for most of her professional career, and specialized in farm and land sales. She greatly enjoyed working with people and being involved in her community. Following retirement, Diane became very involved with Real Life Ministries and enjoyed working with the ladies of the Pray and Crochet Ministry to crochet blankets for individuals diagnosed with cancer.

Diane loved her family tremendously, and was a kind and generous soul to others. She was very loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Diane is survived by her mother, Jewel Denny; two children: Paige Hirt and John Wall; and seven grandsons: Chris, Tyler, Brayden, Benjamin, Bryce, Elliott, and Robbie.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 28, at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, ID. Services are open to the public. A potluck will immediately follow at the church. You may visit Jewell's on-line memorial page at www.englishfuneralchapel.com
