JOBS: Spokesperson shouldn't speak
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 11 years, 1 month AGO
On Feb. 6, The Press published a story about Frontier Communications joining the White House in an employment initiative. It’s pretty hard to believe they’d have Frontier’s CEO, Maggie Wilderotter, on this committee speaking about hiring the unemployed. She’s one of the contributors to unemployment.
Here in Coeur d’Alene alone she has laid off more than 100 long-term employees from Frontier Communications. The people laid off here were long term, hardworking, well-trained people. The workers here were replaced by minimum wage, new employees in South Carolina. Our jobs were pretty much outsourced, although they are in the U.S. They did the same thing to our office in Indiana, and probably several others. Only wish this letter would get to Washington, D.C.
Ms. Wilderotter is the WRONG person to be speaking about unemployment.
