COEUR d'ALENE - Animal supporters in the community can pounce on their chance to have a ball at Help Every Little Paw's annual Bartenders' Ball Charity, happening in the Coeur d'Alene Eagles upstairs ballroom from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. March 1.
Help Every Little Paw (H.E.L.P.) is sponsoring a give-all-ways evening of gourmet appetizers and cocktail sampling accompanied by a silent auction, a bartender flair competition and entertainment provided by Ruby Frog Entertainment. The event will help raise much-needed funds to support the health and wellness of pets in Kootenai and Shoshone counties.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door the night of the event. They may be purchased at Urban Edge Salon, Get 'n' Go Gourmet Drive Thru, Windermere Coeur d'Alene (Karen Hansen), Good Dog, Lake City Pet Hospital and the Coeur d'Alene Eagles Lodge.
Guests will be given one raffle ticket per pound of pet food they donate for a chance to win a $500 premium liquor basket.
The Bartenders' Ball Charity was inaugurated in 2003. H.E.L.P. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the health and happiness of all pets, with goals of raising funds to rescue abandoned, stray and neglected animals as well as provide medical attention, spaying, neutering, socialization rehabilitation and food to those in need.
