Bride Expo is a one-stop shop for all things wedding

COEUR d'ALENE - Planning a wedding? Even if you're only thinking about getting married someday, don't miss the sixth annual Inland Northwest Bride Expo.

Presented by the Blackwell Hotel, the expo is Thursday from 4-7:30 p.m. at the Hagadone Event Center, located at The Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course.

More than 35 wedding vendors - everything from bridal shops to cake designers to rental companies - will be on site, displaying their wares.

"It's a really fun evening," event coordinator Jennifer Alexander said. "You can come and plan your wedding all in one night. Everything that you need is right there."

There will be fashion shows at 5 and 7 p.m., coordinated by Storybook Bridal Boutique. You can buy a glass of wine or champagne and sample delicious hors d'oeuvres as you wander around the expo, visiting the vendors.

Music will be provided by Ruby Frog Entertainment, voted Best DJ Service in North Idaho three years in a row.

Attendees can enter to win a $500 gift certificate for a night at the Blackwell Hotel, and a wedding gown valued up to $500 from Storybook Bridal Boutique.

The Blackwell Hotel is the main sponsor for the expo. Part event venue and part boutique hotel, it's the perfect place to hold an intimate wedding or to spend your wedding night.

VIP tickets for the expo are available for $12, which includes reserved seating for the fashion show, a glass of champagne, and a goodie bag filled with special trinkets.

General admission tickets are $5, and are available at the door or in advance at the Coeur d'Alene Press office at 201 N. Second St. and Flawless Full Service Salon at 1510 Northwest Blvd.

The stunning Hagadone Event Center, overlooking Lake Coeur d'Alene, is the perfect setting for this elegant event. The expo is sponsored by Blackwell Hotel, Storybook Bridal Boutique, and Flawless Full Service Salon and Make-up Studio.
