SANDPOINT — With the appointment of Deb Fragoso to the Sandpoint City Council, the big table is finally at max capacity.

Due to several contributing factors including the resignation of former council member Aaron Qualls and the appointment of Carrie Logan to mayor, the council frequently operated at fewer than the standard six members for the past several months. That changed Wednesday when council members approved Logan’s appointee to her vacant council seat, Deb Fragoso. The council didn’t need much discussion time before it unanimously approved the measure.

Logan selected Fragoso as her replacement following several weeks of accepting letters of interest.
