Kid star chaos

Ah, to be a 19-year-old teen idol with money in the bank and time on your hands...

Apparently, no good can come from that situation, especially if your name happens to be Justin Bieber.

Some still say this Canadian import is a singer and dancer. The better argument can be made that he's an out-of-control punk with too much money, time and a surrounding of bad influence.

However you want to look at it, Justin has had a busy few weeks. First he allegedly egged a neighbor's house in Southern California, and the cops came with a search warrant in hand and confiscated surveillance tapes that pertain to the matter.

Deciding it was time to get out of town and let things cool off, the young squire and his posse/entourage jetted to Miami, where he demonstrated his lead foot in a yellow Lamborghini. Justin had a little something-something in his system, apparently and is facing DUI charges as a result of the incident.

Bouncing away from trouble again, the crew bopped over to Panama so he could stretch out on the beach and hopefully continue the party.

In a moment of apparent clarity, Justin decided to turn himself in back in Toronto on Jan. 29, where he faced assault charges because a limo driver didn't set the volume of the stereo correctly.

Yeah, I know - surely that's grounds to whup some a##!

After posting bail, Justin sauntered back onto the private jet and headed for New Jersey to attend the Super Bowl.

By now (shockingly) he and the jet were not flying under the radar, and he was detained upon arrival back in the U.S., and authorities searched him and the plane for drugs.

Apparently, JB behaved himself at the Super Bowl, or maybe the crowd shielded his bad behavior. It's entirely possible that he was working behind the scenes to put the whammy on the Denver offense.

Justin spoke out last week, stating that ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez has only herself to blame for her addictions. Sure, dude - anything a guy says about his ex is honest and truthful. I'm sure he has never heard the phrase, "familiarity breeds contempt." And if he had, I'll bet he doesn't know what it means.

So where will this all end? I'm kind of baffled at this point. The kid with the peach-fuzz mustache and padded wallet is bound to come before a "hang 'em high" judge at some point and do some real hard time for something he has done previously or in the near future - that is, unless he wraps a Lambo around a streetlight and goes out in a Paul Walker-esque blaze of glory (no pun intended).

Someone like the Biebs who is known to wear his pants lower than the rainfall total of California this winter has already lost my respect.

Not that I had any for the teen hearthrob to begin with.

I just hope that when he goes down, it's in a blaze of laughter.

On my part, that's a certainty.
