Asper, a freshman from Lake City High, finished second with a personal record in the 800-meter dash in 2 minutes, 16 seconds at the Washington State Indoor Open on Saturday in Pullman. She also made the school's Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship team, which competes Friday and Saturday at the MPSF Indoor Championships in Seattle.

Magnuson, a junior that competed on the Lake City High swim team, broke the school's 50-yard freestyle record of 23.24 seconds on Feb. 21 at the MPSF Championships at East LA College, finishing in 23.22 in the preliminary round before posting a 23.13 on Thursday to finish third overall. For her efforts, she was named first-team honors in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke.

Loper, a junior from Post Falls High, scored a team-high 22 points for the Ducks (13-14, 4-12 Pac-12 Conference) in a 108-88 loss to Washington State on Sunday in Pullman. On Friday, Loper scored 24 points, hitting seven 3-pointers and adding four rebounds and four assists in the Ducks' 108-100 loss to Washington in Seattle.

Wardell, a sophomore from Post Falls High, threw a career-best 49 feet, 5.5 inches to finish sixth in the Washington State Open II Meet at the Indoor Facility in Pullman on Friday.
