Police calls: Fancy coffee and sleeping bag found

Monday, Feb. 17
10:42 a.m. Report of a vehicle with a smashed window on Dakota Avenue.
1:10 p.m. Report of an attempted burglary at a business on Central Avenue. The incident was caught on security camera.
10:51 p.m. Suspicious activity reported on Baker Avenue. A woman was seen passed out inside a vehicle. A man was seen getting out of the vehicle who then possibly stole items from another vehicle. Police followed his footprints to a cafe on Second Street. He possibly got into another vehicle or stole a vehicle and fled the scene.
Tuesday, Feb. 18
12:59 p.m. A 16-year-old boy was reported missing after he didn’t show up for school.
4:19 p.m. A very nice sleeping bag with a bag of fancy coffee inside was found on Skyles Place.
11:42 p.m. Report of loud music at an apartment on Woodland Place.
Wednesday, Feb. 19
1:06 a.m. Report of an intoxicated man in a beanie hat stumbling near the highway.
2:07 a.m. A suspicious man was seen sitting in a vehicle on Pine Place smoking a cigarette. He was possibly leaving a raging party down the street.
7:49 p.m. A West 7th Street resident was warned about their barking dogs.
Thursday, Feb. 20
12:58 p.m. Report of a Craigslist scam. A Birch Hill Drive resident said someone posted his home as for rent. It was not his listing.
3:34 p.m. No injuries were reported after a school bus hit a vehicle on East 7th Street.
Friday, Feb. 21
7:24 p.m. Report of a suspicious man shaking closed business doors at the mall.
Saturday, Feb. 22
12:51 a.m. Report of an intoxicated driver stuck on Fairway Drive.
1:47 a.m. Four men were fighting on Central Avenue. One man had a sweater with the male anatomy drawn on it in magic marker.
11:42 a.m. A resident reported a dog running loose at a store downtown. The caller was advised there is no leash law inside private property.
1:07 p.m. A giraffe-print purse was stolen from Central Avenue.
2:45 p.m. A driver flipped off another man at the movie theater. It seemed suspicious.
Sunday, Feb. 23
12:45 p.m. Report of a Jeep that was egged and had mustard put on it.
8:07 p.m. A woman told police her baby’s daddy said he was going to take the child. She was advised to form a parenting plan.
