A helicopter lowers bighorn rams into an area of Big Arm State Park Wednesday morning after the sheep were captured on Wild Horse Island. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks planned to capture 60 big horn sheep from the island to relocate to other herds near Kootenai Falls Wildlife Management Area and the southern Cabinet Mountains in an effort to maintain the population on Wild Horse Island. Biologist performed health tests on the sheep before loading them into horse trailers to be transported.
