Alaska Airlines will offer direct flights between Portland, Ore., and Kalispell beginning this summer.

The flights will operate seasonally from June 9 to Aug. 23.

“This new daily service will give northwest Montana residents direct access to the exciting city of Portland, and also great connection opportunities within the Alaska Air Group network,” said Cindi Martin, Glacier Park International Airport director.

The flight will depart from Kalispell daily at 6:50 p.m. and arrive in Portland at 7:25 p.m. Return flights depart Portland at 3:55 p.m. an arrive at Kalispell at 6:20 p.m.

Alaska Airlines’ regional partner, Horizon Air, will operate the new flights with the Bombardier Q400, a high-speed, twin-engine turboprop.
