SANDPOINT — Three Boundary County residents pleaded not guilty to repeatedly molesting up to a half-dozen children while living in Bonner County.

Ernest Ray Johnson III is charged with six counts of lewd and lascivious conduct with minor. Johnson’s wife, Heidi Julia Johnson, is also charged with six counts of lewd conduct, but did not enter a plea due to questions about her fitness to proceed and assist in her own defense, court records show.

Heidi Johnson’s mother and father, Frank Donald Hankey and Diane Lynn Hankey, are charged with five counts of lewd conduct.
