The Bonners Ferry Badgers were down by seven points at the half Feb. 26, but were able to outscore the Spartans by 13 in the second half to win 60-52. Wyatt Nelson was the top scorer for the Badgers with 15 points. Cameron Woods had 13 and Josh Pluid had 10. Tenacious inside defense kept the Spartans from scoring inside. The Badgers were unable to cool the hot hands of Senior Jimmy Koch though, who scored 25 points, many from beyond the 3 point line.

The Timberlake Tigers lost to the Kellogg Wildcats in the second game of the night. Kellogg, who already beat Bonners Ferry on Monday earned a trip to State with the win. Bonners Ferry will play Timberlake tonight, Feb. 27 at 7:00 p.m, at Timberlake. The winner of this game will travel to a playoff game in McCall with a chance to compete in the state tournament.
