Academy Awards screening to benefit Cd'A Summer Theatre

Watch the Academy Awards on Sunday with North Idaho's very own award-winner: Patty Duke.

Duke and her Oscar - a best supporting actress honor Duke won in 1963 for her role in "The Miracle Worker" - will be at the Bing Crosby Theatre in Spokane on Sunday, where the awards show is being screened live beginning at 5 p.m.

The event, a benefit for Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre and Friends of the Bing, will feature new artistic director Jadd Davis as the emcee. The evening will include live performances with music from famous movies.

Beer, wine and food will be available for purchase at the concessions stands all night as you enjoy Hollywood's most glamorous evening.

This event supports the continual efforts of Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre and Friends of the Bing to enrich and entertain the community with high quality performing arts productions.
