POLSON - In the midst of a significant winter snowstorm, Polson School District administrators are encouraging parents to come get their children whenever possible on Friday. Buses will be operating as planned throughout the afternoon, in case parents or guardians are unable to arrange an early pick-up.

"We just don't want kids stranded," said Tawnie Baughman in the district office, emphasizing safety as the snow continues to accumulate.

Baughman also said that after-school activities planned for the day have been cancelled.
