Christmas tree pickup will start Saturday, Jan. 4

A volunteer organization is helping the city of Kalispell with the annual Christmas tree pickup and recycling program.
Volunteers will pick up trees Jan. 4, 11 and 18. Jan. 18 will be the last day for curbside pickup.
Trees need to be free of all ornaments, stands, tinsel, garlands or other items considered decoration. Trees should be placed standing up in boulevards.
