Angel Peña Hernandez

Angel Peña Hernandez, 57, longtime Moses Lake resident died unexpectedly Friday, December 27, 2013 while at work in Othello, Washington. He was born May 31, 1956 in Apo el Nuevo, Municipio de Tumbiscatio, Michoacán, México to Jose Trinidad Peña and Rosario Hernandez.

He attended school through the 4th grade and went back to school and graduated July 5, 2012 with his High School Diploma. He married Ramona Barajas in August 1979 in Playitas, Mexico, together they lived in California and Washington. He worked for McCain Foods in Othello for the last 7 years. He loved to restore old cars, movies, music and travelling by car, and spending time with his dear family.

Angel is survived by his wife Ramona Peña, children Juan Peña, Noe Peña, Lorena Peña, Eduardo Peña, Trinidad Peña and Angel Peña Jr.; sisters and brothers Dora Peña, Felix, Alfonso, Norberto, Gildardo, Maria del Soccoro, Godoferdo Blas and Mariela; grandchildren Juliani Xavier Peña, Serenity Ramona, Jerimah Angel, Angelo Noe, Diego Peña, Rosario Nyreece and Khole Nichole.

Viewing was held at Benson's Chapel from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2014, and Friday, January 3, 2014 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 2 p.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 200 N. Dale Rd., Moses Lake, WA, with Rev. Daniel Dufner, Celebrant.

Burial and concluding services will immediately follow Mass in Guarding Angels Cemetery, Moses Lake.
