Basketball roundup: Bigfork boys blow out St. Ignatius

 ST. IGNATIUS — Three Vikings reached double-figures as Bigfork battered St. Ignatius 67-38 in a nonconference Class B boys basketball game Saturday.

Christian Evans scored a game-high 17 points and Jonathan Landon and Ryder Trent each finished with 10.

Bigfork (6-0) led 15-13 after the first quarter before stretching its lead to 33-17 by halftime.

Stuart Grant scored 15 points to lead St. Ignatius.

Troy outscored Libby 18-6 in the fourth quarter but couldn’t complete the comeback.

EUREKA — A dominant third quarter helped Columbia Falls pull away from Eureka in an inter-class matchup.

The Wildcats led 32-26 at halftime before outscoring Eureka 22-12 in the third.

Ty Morgan and Jared Trinastich led Columbia Falls (5-0) with 18 and 17 points, respectively.

Chase Bohne scored 16 points for Eureka.

Kalister Meafher and Miranda Campbell each scored seven points for the Valkyries.

Sydney Castor led St. Ignatius with six points.
