FOOD: Thanks to all involved in LCC food bank donation
The Lake City Community Food Bank would like to thank North Idaho Family Physicians - Kootenai Urgent Care, Lakewood Physical Therapy, Kootenai Occupational Medicine and Medical Practice Management Services for their generous donation of 200 pounds of food.
"It's great to see local businesses coming together to help the community," said Food Bank Director Joyce Dexter. "Coeur d'Alene is a very giving community."
The Lake City Community Food bank serves on average 5-600 families per month. That number rises during the winter months.

Lake City Center wants to give a special thank you to all who so generously supported our "White Christmas Affair" Christmas event for seniors and our community. The fundraiser held on Dec. 14 helps support our numerous services including Meals on Wheels. Through the help of our community's donations the event was successful. A Taste of Jazz, gave wonderful big band, Dixieland and swing music performances. The band members, including Dave Steele and Maryann Taibi, donated their time toward our fundraising efforts.
