LIBBY — Polson’s wrestling team opened 2014 on the right foot, crushing Libby in a Northwest A Conference dual match on Thursday, Jan. 2.
The Pirates channeled pins from Thunder Morales, Jaben Wenzel, Jared Young, Warren Wood and Isaiah Williams into a decisive 69-33 victory over the Loggers.
Polson senior Tel Motichka also managed a 9-4 win in the 170-pound weight class.

Wood is charged with deliberate homicide in connection with the death of Thompson Falls resident Matthew LaFriniere in May 2018.
